5 REASONS YOU CAN'T MISS CHRISTMAS EVE WITH DOXA

5reasonsWIDE

Christmas is right around the corner. You're probably realizing that you didn't get enough scotch tape or running through your list of family and friends making sure everyone is covered. The holiday season is at fever pitch and we can all feel the excitement and chaos.

With that said, you will not want to miss Doxa Church's first ever Christmas Eve gathering, happening on December 24th at 6:30pm in downtown Bellevue.  Tons of free parking in our parking lot and the Key Center parking garage next door.  RSVP here, or if you need convincing, here's 5 reasons why:

REASON #1: Lots of Christmas Music
Even Ebenezer Scrooge had a favorite Christmas song. We'll be singing some of your favorites along with a couple of fresh takes on ones you've heard 100 times before. We'll have both some rockin' celebrating as well as some quiet reflection times in our singing together. What's "Oh Holy Night" without candles? We don't plan to find out.

REASON #2: It's Family Style
You don't need a babysitter or need to worry about checking your kids in because we'll all be celebrating together. It’ll be big, fun, and a little crazy- just like Christmas morning. The whole service is scheduled to run one hour, so tell your kids we'll be hanging together for the amount of time it takes to watch two episodes of something on Netflix.

REASON #3: Hot. Cocoa. Bar.  (plus Christmas Cookie Potluck!)
Don't need to elaborate much here, but you probably know that the only thing better than hot chocolate on a cold evening in the PNW is Ghirardelli hot chocolate with half a dozen gourmet toppings. Can you say “salted caramel hot chocolate?” Yep- we’ve got that too. And if you’ve got the gift of baking, whip up a dozen or three of your favorite holiday cookies and bring them to share with everyone!

REASON #4: The Christmas Story
We have a very special reading of the Christmas story planned that people of all ages will enjoy. It's a tradition in many families to read the story this time of year, and we thought we could do it as one big church family.

REASON #5: The Reason for the Season
Jeff will be preaching a short but powerful message on the gospel and Christmas. Whether you're Christian or just investigating Jesus, this will be a clear presentation of what Christianity and this wonderful holiday are all about. Bring your family and friends...everyone will enjoy it.

See you at 6:30pm on December 24th. Directions are here, and come a few minutes early if you can to get a seat.

YOU CAN RSVP HERE.

Merry Christmas!
